October 21-23, 2022 Fenwick Island, Delaware
We will be renting a few beach houses in Fenwick Island, just a bit further south than Dewey Beach, where the last Quadrennial was. One will be the central get-together house, while others will be designated for families with kids of similar ages. For those of you who prefer to have your own space, please go ahead and find your own beach house, condo or hotel room. If you find something on Airbnb or HomeAway, go ahead and book it now and let us know that you are in! We will post a calendar of events as we get closer to game time, but you can count on good food, drink, music and activities for all ages. We picked this weekend because the rates are low, the water can still be warmish, and we will cross our fingers that the weather is good. Why Fenwick?
The first reunion was in Colorado, and the second was in Dewey Beach. Since a lot of our "family" now have families of their own, we thought that keeping it on the East Coast would be a good choice considering everyone's needs. Fenwick is central to everything the Delaware and Maryland beaches have to offer. October is definitely a quiet time of year, but we have a pretty entertaining crew, so there will be plenty to keep us busy.
I don't know a lot of these people
That's kind of the point. We have good friends that are part of many circles, and sometimes those circles only overlap a little. If someone invited you, that means they think you are pretty cool and want you to meet some other people who are pretty cool in their own way. We want your kids to get to know each other and maybe they can make new friends that are outside of their normal circles. One weekend every 4 years is not much of a commitment, but we hope you will be looking forward to 2026.
